How POETIC that on my last night of pedi-cabbing, I run into George Bliss, the man with a vision who started the pedi-cab industry here in New York City. If it were not for George and his environmental dream to eliminate cars from the Island of Manhattan, I may never have had this precious mid-life experience and healing via the golden streets of Manahatta.

My last passenger for 2005!

Mom does not understand what the attraction is to pedi-cabbing and is glad that New Years Eve will be my last ride...

Friday, December 23, 2005

I try to explain how much pedi-cabbing has meant to me, how healthy I feel after 3 years of intense physical labor....

how like my sisters and brothers the carriage horses, I thrive on utilizing the strength of my body, and being out doors in the open air....

MOM: "But why don't you blow glass anymore or make sculpture and art? "
